My dog seems to have a small problem with incontinence.
Not major leakage, but every now and then when she gets up from laying down, there is small to moderate size puddle where her ass end just was.
I brought her to the vet who ruled out any major issues or infections, and prescribed Proin, 50mg, she gets 1/2 a pill twice a day.
Layla’s only been on the pills for a day and a 1/2 so far, but I went online and saw there were some bad side effects that could occur. Has anyone had their dog on this medication and how did they do on it?
I’m to bring her back to the vet in about 1 mo for follow-up. Anyone who’s had their dog on this, how long were they on the medication for?
