one of the reasons i wanted to take her is because she wants to play so bad with other dogs. if you coulf have seen her in action youd know. she loves being with other dogs, like a kid on a playground she was like, yas finally!!! when she is with other dogs is the happiest ive seen her, other than when i come home from work. this is the reason i want to get another pitty. she really is a different dog when she is with other dogs. she seems some how complete. and my friends red nose pit, she stayed at laylas side, you could tell when she got nervous she ran straight to layla, even though she was bullying her at times.

ha! i heart you kendseycollins i truely do. i was thiking the exact same thing earlier. i cannot help to sit on the floor and love on my pit, or roll on the floor with her when she is being silly, or play with her running around the atrium at midnight, (tonight) like a crazy person cause she is feeling frisky, or laying quietly as she wallers over me on the couch, or feeling like the worst person on the planet for leaving her home alone while i work extra long hours for the first time since i adopted her only to be greeted with such joy upon my return home for the erd time from work because i felt aweful not coming home to love her eventhough it wasted too much gas and too much tim and i would have been home early. yes that may have been the longest run on sentence ever uttered but i dont care. guess my iq is low tonight.

kong toys! they will still destroy them but not as quickly. also if he is a puppy he has a lot of chewing to do, like human babies. also get hime different thpes of toys some that are just for play and chewing and others that stimulate his brain which can keep him occupied for hours.

That is a dilemma! I think the obvious cause and where she went after to attack is obvious, her being kicked by men. He was also probably wearing the same type of shoe the men who hurt her were wearing. She is probably associating those shoes with pain. Does she react only when your husband wears them or is it all the time now? Also is it possible to post private property do not enter on your land? How dare they come on your property and attack your dog. That is what has happened she has been attacked by multiple men. I think calling a pit bull rescue for assistance is a good idea. They know the breed and have to deal with aggression. Let them know that you are in trouble financially and need help correcting this behavior, cant afford a trainer, and want to keep her. I think any pitty rescue would be happy to help keep her in her loving home.

Also if I was your husband I would not wear golfing shoes around her, she probably associates the shoes with pain. I also wouldn’t put her on the same porch any longer, she probably associates that porch with being attacked. Both will make her fearful and reactive.

LOL I don’t think I will run into that problem right now, but that could change! Actually the majority of my staff where I used to work, worked from home all over the country. Dogs in the back ground was normal and normally annoying when they would bark. It was great though when they would snore, everyone got a kick out of that!!

LOL they are funny dogs! Layla must have some sinus problems, she sounds like she is “snoring” when i pet her but she is wide awake. if she was a cat i would call it purring because that sound only comes when i pet her. She also vocalizes, it isnt a bark or a growl. Its kinda quiet and she does it when she is really happy.. almost like a hmmmmm hmmmmmm hmmmm. She got on the bed last night too right after i got into bed put her face right on mine, (i was laying on my side), when i told her to get down i swear she said AAAWWWW! and every time i said it she would make that noise, snuggle closer to me, and put her head in a different spot, on my forhead, neck, throat, etc… when i sat up and told her to get up she sat up and buried her muzzle under my arm. She didnt want to move. She finally did though. LOL

I dont get the sound she makes though. I havent heard of another dog doing that.

No kids, its just me and her. It doesnt matter what it is, her side, the couch, her foot, the floor, my bed, her bed, etc… there is no rhyme or reason. I guess its just something she does, although i would like her to stop… she can soak the furniture!! its not great kicking my feet up on the couch and there is a wet spot! LOL
