We had a similar incident with Blaze.  He nipped a boy after a branch was thrown at him.  He nipped  my neighbor after she saw him, screamed, and ran.  A/C took him for 7 months while we fought to bring him home.  He was examined by an expert animal behaviourist who deemed Blaze to react when startled.  We had 2 attorneys, 5 court dates, $1M in liability for Blaze, and almost $9,000.00 later, have Blaze home with many restrictions.  We are being sued by one victim so our homeowners’ insurance is dropping us.  My policy expires 07/09/2011 and I still have not found a carrier and have searched for almost 2 months.  Good luck in your fight……I will be thinking of you.
