is the male dog “fixed”? my dog started to do that and it was better after he got fixed. Terretory-yes, defenatly.jealousy-yes. a little of all.Make more trips outside, if he messes in the house=right out side, might have to get him fixed

sounds like and infection. he might have had a small wound that got infected. needs to go to vet, if not treated it could get into bloodstream and kill the dog. If you don’t have any money for a vet, you should not have a dog! they get really expensive quickly. thats what credit cards are for. take care of you pet or give it to someone who will. vet will give antibiotics( cheap) should not cost more htem 60 or 70 bucks

Hi, 6 month is not old enought for any dog to be house broken. My younger Lab still gets crated (she is about 10 month)   they do not have the control yet. My advice is, when ur home take molly out every half hour or so and let her do her stuff, talk to her.I know it sounds stupid, but I did it too. When u go out crate her, she won’t mess in her crate. At about one year u can try to leave her out when u leave the house. I’m one to talk, now that school is out Im so used to my daughter being home, I forgot to put my young one in the crate. Im sure I will have to do some cleaning when I get home.LOL It all will take time! If u will take the time it takes, u will have a grate dog! Oh yeah, I don’t just have Labs, I got adopted by a wonderful Pit a couple of month ago

I know it has been a while since ur post. The reason people don’t want to rent  to pit owners is the insurence. When I bought my house I told insurance co I have dogs, 1st question is what kind. Many insurance co’s wont insure if there is a certain breed in the house

when my dog got hit by a car and needed surgery, I pulled out my credit card! She was my resposibility. I was a single mom at that time and had nothting, but I paid for it. It is ur dog, u need to step up and do the right thing. If there is no way for u to pay when ur dog get sick, u should not have one.Sorry but thats the way I feel.good luck

my adult dogs give up food for the little one, that could be one reason. Also and this is not good, my other lab started the same thing. tried everything. kept goint to the vet. found out after lots of money and paint for both the dog and the family, she had cancer of the liver. See if ur pup is trying to get the food or if there is something else going on. good luck

My Pit is the same way. I don’t get a hassle about my dog.We live in the country, but when he first showed up, someone turned us in for letting him out. Thought he might go back home) Nice neighbors. We tried to find a home for him, but I could not find one that was good enough and we kept Spike.Best choice I could have made

HI, I too just got the first Pit myself. He was a stray, showed up at our house. My dogs were  agressive toward him and he just sat there and looked on. We introduced them, my Labs on one side of the fence and Spike on the other side. One day when I was at work my daughter sent me a pic message over the cell phone. All dogs together in the house.I thought OMG. but all went well, even my cats are still around, they are now used to Spike and don’t run away no more. Spike is very good with all other animals, as far as we know. Kids the same way. When he showed up at our house we had a party and there were kids running around. After he ate and got some water her ran after the kid, I was afraid, but, nothing. He played with the kids all afternoon. If they would wonder off, her was right by their side. All in the upbringing and socializing.
