Maybe you guys can help me, and tips will be greatly appreciated. I have two pitties male and female, ive had my male a year before we got neela. He dosent pull when i walk him just when were getting out the door and knows the word “wait” so he does really good on walks. Sooo the problem is my female

She runs in circles around me and walking them together is soooo hard i cant walk her because she pulls and jumps everywhere…pretty much yanking me all over the place im tiny, she weighs half of me lol…but walking her alone isnt so bad if my boyfriends with me but i want to walk them together, but she jumps on my male and trys to play with him which gets him all fired up. How can control her, to walk them both?

well thank you both so much on your advice!
i actually talked to my neighbors a week or so ago about it and turns out they rented a room to someone who brought there dogs, and is soon moving out. there very understanding and have controlled there dogs much better..i just think they were bored being chained up all day! (poor things) so things have changed and me and my pitties are much happier :]

I put a jacket on my pits when ever the weather is too cold, or a raincoat in the rain. they love it! but i only put them on when were going for walks, or the park, or if im going to be out for a lil while and there in the yard.

my dog was a year old when one day i noticed he limped. it wasnt all the time so i just thought it was a cramp because it seemed to happen when he went from a laying to standing position. So i took him to the vet and turns out he has bad knees…its hereditary 🙁 im stuck with not knowing what to do i hate seeing him in pain…but the surgery is 7 thousand each leg..and my vet told me its not guaranteed! I say you get a different opinion or exrays done..

yeah people are so ignorant, and sometimes down right mean! i live two houses down from my boyfriends mom…and my boyfriends little sister tried to come in my yard to give me my mail, (she loves otis and neela by the way and always plays with them) and her mom yelled at her and told her not to go in the gate cause she didnt want her to get bit!!! first of all shes been around my dogs for ever now, and never ever have my pits showed aggression towards anyone! aaaand she has this little brown dog who probably weighs less then 20 pounds, who is coverd in huge ticks that attacks anyone who walks down our street!! …super frustrating!

my dog is potty trained, when he has to go he scratches the door or comes up to me and whines. On two different occasions he has had accidents and i took him to the vet the second time. because it was just a lot! and the doc told me he had an upset stomach…maybe something he ate or just wasnt feeling good…maybe thats whats wrong??

I know what you mean!…we’ve takin our bully to the dog park plenty of times and as soon as the people see we are coming they leave, or either talk crap…and our bully hasn’t even lunged, or barked or anything he dosent even get a chance to show them how well behaved he is. He also has been attacked by a lab and other small little dogs, its funny when small dogs attack our pit the owners think its cute or funny..it drives me nuts! People just love to discriminate….and look for an excuse to ban pit bulls and its no it isnt fair!

thanks for the advice! and ill look into testing him for food allergies. we actually got him from a friend, and im not too sure what food he was eating. We tried mixing his dry food with can food but that makes his stool runny…we give him raw chicken legs and he loves those, and i just started mixing his food with raw meat that has been frozen first then thawed out of course and he’s been eating it so im going to try this out for a while and see if he puts on a few pounds..

hello..well i have a 1 and a few month old male pit…and we recently got a famale pit she was about 2 months when we got her. i was kind of scared that he wouldnt like her, or bully her but you juts have to be patient, give off confident energy.. and introduce them slowly and supervise them! He would sniff her and walk in circles around her and after two days of him avoiding her her finally excepted her and there best of friends now!…i also tried a male, he was a friends puppy but my otis just didnt want anything to do with him…i guess it just depends..well i really hope i some what helped! :]
