I may be in the minority here but; While I think what Vick did was awful, low and disqusting, I do think everyone deserves a second chance.   I don’t think he should be allowed to own another dog anytime soon if ever.  I think he needs counseling and should be ordered to have it.  It is obvious he is a very sick person with a sick mind.  If criminals didn’t get second chances how would they function in society?  Should we just lock them all up and throw away the key? 

I believe once a person pays their debt and takes their punishment they should be allowed to get a fresh start.  No I don’t think he should be allowed around dogs or own one but playing ball wasn’t part of his crime.

I agree they do seem to have their own personalities.  They are fun to watch.  I can’t believe how smart they are.  I have had dogs in the past but they were mostly mixed breed and a little harder to train.  These dogs if we show them a few times they pick it up. The male is a little quicker but the female will catch on by following him.  They are so eager to please.

Hello, I am also new here.  Don’t know if I was supposed to start my own topic or not.     I just got two PitBull pups and wanted to share with others who also love PBs.  When my husband first said he wanted two PBs I wasn’t happy about it because of the bad press.  I then did my own research and found that they are given a bad rap.  I have had mine for over a month and must say I wouldn’t trade them for anything.  They are fun dogs.  They are smart and loving as well.  I will have more stories to tell later.
