Hey everyone! If you love going places and doing fun stuff with your pitbull there will be an AWESOME event in Wilmington, North Carolina this Saturday may 7th! Its called Paw Jam and its been around for 10 years but sadly, this year will be its last because of poor funding and volunteers. I suggesst googling it for details and the exact address. J and I went last year for the first time and he ended up being crowned Mr. Paw Jam 2010!. Its a fun loving place that welcomes ALL BREEDS! Lots of vendors and rescue orgs such as Carolina Care Bullies and therapy teams like Carolina Canines!
Everything else goes here. Chatter away about anything.
Ok I got a tennis ball to play fetch with Lady. She did great, she brought it right back every time. I was keeping it in a basket on top of the counter so she couldnt get it while she was inside. The kids thought it would be a good idea to let her chew on it while I was cooking dinner. They gave it to her and when I went back in the living room the clothe from the ball was torn up all over the floor but no insides were to be found. Im assuming she ate it. So I got her this huge chew bone with the red meaty stuff inside.
It was a bad day at work for me today. Unfortunately an irresponsible pitbull owner added to the stereotype that pitbulls are vicious and that owners are of low character. As the officer stated one the pitbulls was so friendly and happy, just wagging away. But the other was "under the influence of the owner" and was trained to be human aggressive. Which meant animal control had to respond. I wish I could say that it was an accident but unfortunately not. He trained it to be aggressive toward humans. Poor dog was too loyal. Not a happy day for me.
Im in the process of entering my dog in agility classes, only to find out i will be the only person there with a pitbull. Im expecting to get the bad looks and be the talk of the group for awhile, but im really hoping to open some of these peoples eyes and show them that pitbulls can do anything any other dog can do, if not better (;. So i wanted to ask you;
Are you and your dog into anything like this? maybe obedience or weight training or even agility like me? share your stories! (:
I'm going to be 25 years old on December 21st. I decided to make a birthday wish to help Pit Bulls across Canada. So if anyone is able to donate or even share this link to help me raise money for this cause: I THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!!
From me and the Pit Bulls THANK YOU :)
Hello I would love to place upright pictures of my dogs on here however; they come out sideways. Can anyone please tell me how to change them around. On my computer they are the correct way. thanks for your help. Just to rant alittle I live in a town that I just found out have stict city ordiences. One is if another dog jumps your fence and your dog beats it up. wont say attacks because it is in your fenced yard. Your dog will be placed in quaritine. Here is another one.
Any suggestions? It's the right format, but all it tells me is this: "The file in the field was unable to be uploaded."

Yesterday my pitbull killed a small deer. we recently moved to the country so he is out of his normal element of living. i know it is natural for animals to kill other animals but should i be concerned?? he is so gentle with my husband and i and he is great around kids...this was just a surprise to me that he could do this.
