My name's Cari. I adopted a pitty about 6 months ago. She's now an 11 month old spayed female. She came from an unfortunate situation and was malnourished when brought to the shelter. She was a goofy, playful puppy but as she's gotten older, some very unfortunate behavior has began to surface.

I am new to this forum and I have 2 Alsatian Dogs.
My name is mike. My wife is Donna, our family is the proud owners of an 11 week old female pit named dyna. She is amazing and we love her to death. We also own a Pom named davitino they r super funny together.
I recently adopted a three year old female pitbull. Annie was raised by a friend with children and other animals. She recently needed a new home because my friend was moving. I was hesitant to bring Annie home but after getting to know her I fell in love. She is the most gentle, lovable dog ever. She fits in great with my five year old black lab and two year old yorkie poo. My five year old daughter dresses Annie up and Annie just lays there patiently. She rides in the vehicle nicely without whining or barking. She walks nicely and doesnt bark at other people or dogs.
Hi everyone:) I am isunshine, Bebhionne's (beb-e-on) Mom. She just had nine beautiful blue & brindle babies:) I logged in here looking for information on her after care but couldn't find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction? We live in Spokane, WA and are always looking for play dates, at least after the pups get a little bigger. I appreciate any help you can give us. Adopting a pitbull had never crossed my mind until 3 years ago. When my daughter wanted a dog who could keep up with her on walks she fell in love with Skye at our local shelter. Skye was listed as a husky-mix. A few days after we adopted skye we crossed paths with a little boy who told us that she had been his dog before the shelter. (Our otherwise shy Skye confirmed this with a heart-melting display of affection toward this boy.) The boy also told us that she was half pitbull.
We had a pit show up in our yard yesterday. My 8 year old son was outside and the dog walked right up to him and my son started petting him. My wife and I went outside to find this cute little scene, went over to where they were, checked out the dog and was saddened to see that this guy had been severely abused and badly malnourished. Took him to an Emergency Vet Clinic, got him checked out and determined that he was infested with hookworms and ringworms. The vet said he would be dead in 2 weeks if he did not get treatment. I agreed to the treatment.
