I was hoping you would of had some replies here! My 7 month old Blue Nose Pit bull does the very same thing. I’ve gotten to the point where I ask guests to text me prior to ringing the door bell so I can put Sammie outside. Once my guests are here for awhile, she will calm down (somewhat) but continue to sniff, kiss, nudge & want to sit close by. If I find any info out I will certainly send you another comment!
