I started out feeding my pups Iams in the beginning and that seemed to fill them out, they were a bit on the slim side too so we bought some calf starter and sprinkled a little bit on their food too, that seemed to work well. But as they grew, so did their poop! We talked to some experts and were given the advice to use Diamond because it doesnt have the corn filler like Iams it has chicken and rice for the base, and that has kept them looking healthy ever since, and the poop is smaller because they are retaining more of what they eat! The best advice is to not be cheap when it comes to feeding your dog, you want them to be healthy so quality is best 🙂 Hope that helps!
