I don’t know if this is accurate but I was told to NEVER scold your dog for going potty inside, but when he goes outside to take him back to the spot (If your not outside with them or with him in general) and praise them.
If nothing works, maybe you should have him checked out and make sure his digestive system is alright, if somethings wrong it might not be his fault.
