So after the attack on a jogger on Lake Shore Drive yesterday (Monday) by two pit bulls that had to be shot and killed by police officers, there is more talk of a BSL on banning pits again! I thought this was over since they were talking about it a few years ago and it was shot down but I guess this “vicious attack” has brought the topic up again.
For those of you in Chicago (or even those who don’t), please stay up to date on this topic! We need to stand together on this. Please attend your city council meeting and write letters to your Aldermen to stop this ban! I’m sure some of you have seen the episode of Pit Boss where the family in Denver is forced to give up their family dog because of a stupid law. I don’t want to see this happen in my city and I don’t want to be forced to move because of it either.
