I have a 7 week old Pit and I love him dearly.  I found out yesterday that the family I got him from is having trouble getting anyone to buy the brother.  I don’t know what will happen to him if he isn’t sold.  Could someone tell me how hard it is to train and raise to Pitbull brothers?  Zeus is great and he is doing really well, will it be a set back if I bring home another one?

I don’t think it would be a setback.  Actually, it would probably be beneficial to have two dogs.  They would be best friends, but I would get them neutered early.  My two doggies tire each other out and keep each other in great shape.  Doggies are used to being part of pack, so they like to have a companion.

I hope you adopt him.  The picture is so cute :).  Give that baby a home

The people I got my puppy from live around the corner from my house and they kept one of the puppies, so Bella plays with her brother all the time.  I agree with bambi, 2 dogs can be beneficial to them.  And they will always have someone to play with!  And, they are still so young that they will adjust to anything still. =)

    Go get him!!! =D

I wish we had gotten two!  Kaos suffers from separation anxiety bad.  He is VERY attached to us and I think a play mate would have given him somebody to bond with that doesn’t have to work during the day.  Now I’m just so glad to be nearing the end of the puppy stage it will probably be a little while before we get another one, though hopefully not too too long as we would take 101 more Pits.  My advice would be to make sure you socialize them well, otherwise there is the possibility of them developing a “pack mentality” and not being as open to strange dogs.  Then again, that goes for any dog.  However, I couldn’t immaging that it would pose any type of set back or issue, provided that you are willing to put in the work for both of them.  Buy LOTS of chew toys!! 🙂

I hope this post isn’t to late and if it is and if you have 2 pit bull brothers it is incorrect . Bull terriers need company and that company comes on two legs,ok so they will enjoy the company of the OPPOSITE sex but if your dog could speak he would say ‘i want you,i need to be part of your family,i need discipline ,exercise, the correct diet and Conditional love in return i will become the perfect family pet ,giving you Unconditional love until the day i die ‘
