Need help with possible aggressive bullie

I have 2 bullies a female that is 2 and a male that is 1 1/2. this past week my grand daughter fell and screamed and my male jumped on her and scratched her.  We don’t think he bit her but either way it scared the day lights out of us.  They are not around children much as my grand kids all live out of state, except for 1 and they are fine with him but have been around him since birth.  I know my grand daughter is afraid of them and always has been which doesn’t help as they sense that fear.  I am afraid to let them be around kids at all now.  Does anyone have any ideas with what I can do to prevent this from happening again and without my babies being in their kennel when the kids visit.
