I just took in a pit bull from a local shelter and he is 3 years old. I am fostering him right now until I can be totally positive I can give him the life he deserves. I am IN LOVE with this dog already 🙂 He is such a bright spirited dog, and so loving. NOTHING like I expected out of a pit bull. My only concern right now, and how to fix it I do not know is how to get him to sleep in his own bed and not in mine!! He thinks that my bed is his now, and I cannot get him out of it!! 🙂 HELP please, I need tips and advice!
you cant go wrong with a crate put his toys in there with some treats ,the more you let him in your bed the harder its going to be to get him out of it
I bought the crate and he escaped out of it! It was a huge crate, I placed all his toys in there and he escaped somehow… I ended up having to take him back to the shelter, he started to show some scary signs that he might turn, and I was obviusly not prepared for the care for him. If I would have gotten him when he was a puppy it would have been so much better. I got him not knowing his history and didnt realize the challenge. It was so hard to give him up.
