New to the forum but have grown up around the breed. Happy to see other like-minded folks and excited about discussing our little munchkins.
Our background: Two weeks ago, found a female red-nose tied to a tree at a Marina in Northeast Houston who had given birth to 8 little bullies. All of them were covered in fleas, stomachs puffed out and extremely lethargic. The biggest male came over to me, sat on my foot and cried.
Needless to say, that ol’ fat boy was scooped up and taken home. After a few days of deliberation, he was dubbed “Hemi”. He had more roundworms than I could have ever imagined and I wanted to strangle the trashy owner of momma dog with every spaghetti noodle i pulled out of his tail.
Anywho… that’s my story thus far. Can’t wait to hear yours.
