does your dog “flea” you?

I dont know what its really called. When your dog goes after fleas with their mouth, they nibble themselves. Layla does this to my beard legs and arms. Other dogs have done this to me, all were female. I know its a grooming thing but not really sure why they do it. I bathe regularly and everything! lol
