we have a 7 month old blue nose and a 4 year old male. this is our first time having 2 dogs and i need some info on the whole going in heat- how old should they before you need to be prepared? what do you look for? i've heard different ages but my male has been acting peculiar with her. i know we can't let him do anything for quite a while, so i need to know if she's old enough to go in heat or if we have a little time? any help with this would be appreciated.

coming mixing breed pits for a living situation

I have a male pit/kerr mix about 2 years old. He's fixed, friendly, and well behaved. 2 days ago I had some neighbos who were evicted that left their dog tied outside I decided I'd try to take on instead of letting the pound come pick him up. He is a rednose, idk if he's full blooded or mixed but I'd guess a year old and not fixed. At first all they did was play wrestle and lick and sniff each other but now they are having skirmishes, the last one leaving scratches on my original pit/kerr mix.

how to fight breed discrimanation

I read that Boaz, AL was about to get their city couicil to adopt a breed neutral dangerous dog law or that the actually did do it. I just wanted to know how they did that and know the steps in doing so that way maybe I could do the same in my city, and hopefully do this not only for Pits but for rots, german sheperds, masiffs, dobermans the  breeds that are declared " aggressive"  or dangerous and that are discrimated agaist because they look the way they do. I love all these dogs and I would love to help these dogs in any way I could.
