Tightrope Procedure for ACL Tear?

Hello everyone, first time posting here. We have a 7.5 year old pitbull who tore his ACL a few weeks ago. We've gotten a variety of recommendations from veterinarians in our area. One procedure that we felt was interesting was called a "tightrope" procedure. Does anyone have any experience with that? Apparently they recommend it for small to medium sized dogs. Our guy is 45 pounds, so I guess he's technically medium sized, but is all muscle and a little nuts. Once or twice a day he likes to run laps in our yard or living room and jump over furniture.

Good afternoon... I was wondering if you have ever seen anything like this on a pit. He has been taking apoquel .. he has had an allergy shot .. changed food and it’s not getting better. Just wondering if you had any ideas that may help. He has been to two different vets and they both said the same!

We adopted amber from a local shelter on Super Bowl weekend. Today she had her first real vet evaluation, outside the shelter. The vet was concerned about her weight. At first they thought she was between 6-8 weeks old. But after watching her behavior, he changed her age to 10 weeks old and said he was concerned about her weight and size. She was 4 pounds when we brought her home, and she weighed 10 pounds today. He said she should probably weigh 50 pounds full grown, but based on how small she is, he thinks she will only be 30 pounds full grown.

Armpit rash! HELPPPP :(

My poor dog Bentley has a very red rash under one of his armpits. I think it is red because of his itching and licking, but it Is still really bad. I have been doctoring it with some neosporin and it got better but now it has flared up 10x worse! I'm now putting baby powder on it ( to reduce some of the moisture) but I'm thinking about putting some bag balm on it. Does anyone else have this problem with their dog? It doesn't have a odor, but I know it is really bothering him. Any suggestions before I have to breakdown and take him to the vet?

Advantix- is it safe to use? [New Pitbull Owner]

We recently adopted Diva from our nearby shelter (a pitbull/lab mix), and boy- does she itch. We bought a cheap flea comb from PetSmart that didn't make much of a difference, and even used oatmeal shampoo. Poor girl still bites and scratches.

I was thinking of using Advantix to tackle her flea problem. What do you think? Have any of you had a good experience with the product? I don't want any unneccesary side-effects and won't use it until I know it's safe for her.
