I recently adopted our 2year old pitt from an animal shelter and we have been having issues with her using the bathroom in the house even if we are home and taking her out regularly. Was wandering if anyone had any suggestions on what i could do to get her to go outside?
Ok, i have a 5year old abpt that is very well behaved in most any situation....except with other animals other than our own. I use to socialize her all the time, bring her every where, went to the dog park almost everyday, basiclly anywhere i was allowed to bring her i did. but recently i have been movin a lot latley and now that i am settled down i went to bring my 6month apbt(sadie) and my 5yr abpt(karma) to the dog park and it did not go over well to say the least.... how can i safely resocializing her?
We have a cat an an older amstaff mix, who get along wonderfully but we adopted our pit pup when he was 16 weeks old and he obsessively chases our cat. He really wants to play with her but she just runs in terror. How do I get him to leave her alone or approach her calmly?
Ginger is 2 years old and she still tears up her pillow I buy her to sleep on. She even shredded my siberian husky, Snowy, pillow.
Is she still considered a 'puppy' still? My husky who is 9 months older, hole digs and runs occasionally, but never chewed and torn things up like Ginger likes to do. Do pit bulls grow up a little slower? She was the 'runt' of the litter. My husband picked her because she had such a sweet nature, she plays with my 13 year old cat and 21 year old parrot.
Whenever anyone comes over, they know they will be bombarded by my dog. He gets super excited anytime anyone comes over and wants to jump up and get lots of love. Most people don't like it and I don't know how to get him to stop. I tell him down and he will but 2 seconds later he does it again.

Hey y'all! We are in the process of house training our 2 month old puppy, Calypso. When we first started she was doing great! Even started going to the door when she had to go out. We've only had her for about a week but she seems to be getting worse with the house training. People have told me to rub her nose in her pee and smack her butt, then throw her outside. I don't hit my kids, and I won't hit my dog. Any advice on how to get her to go to the door to go outside/let us know she wants to go outside? This is my first time house training a dog!
